Covid-19 has been triggering heart attacks



World heart day is celebrated on 29th September every year. Even though heart attack is caused due to many reasons including smoking, Covid-19 is now added to the list. Researches have revealed that covid-19 has been triggering heart attacks. This is not just the case with heart patients, even people who never had a cardiac assert are now being effected by it due to Covid-19.

The virus also gets attached to heart cells and reduces the blood supply to heart. It affects the blood supply and also can lead to blood clots which may tigger heart attacks.


The mortality rate of covid-19 is higher in patients suffering from heart diseases. Now it is also proved that covid-19 will also effect the normal patients heart and may lead heart attack. This may happen in some persons when suffering from Covid-19 or after being cured.
