Cyclone Threat Looms Over Andhra Pradesh



Cyclone Development Expected in the Bay of Bengal

A surface cyclone is expected to form in the Bay of Bengal, gradually intensifying into a low-pressure system and moving towards Andhra Pradesh within 72 hours, according to the Meteorological Department. Due to this system, the state is likely to experience rainfall from June 28 for three consecutive days.


The Meteorological Department forecasts light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in various districts, including Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Parvathipuram, Manyam, Visakhapatnam, Alluri, Kakinada, Konaseema, East Godavari, West Godavari, Eluru, Krishna, NTR, Guntur, Bapatla, Palnadu, and Prakasam.

Residents are advised to stay informed and take necessary precautions as the weather system develops.
