With a move to provide more comforts to the Train Ticket Examiners (TTE), Waltair Division East Coast Railway renovated the existing TTE’s rest house with modern amenities.  Divisional Railway Manager Shri Anup Satpathy inaugurated the facility today (06.05.2022). 

The renovated rest house provided with full length Wall tiles, elegant false ceiling, air conditioned room, up-graded Kitchen etc. Further, the surrounding area of path way to the rest house was covered with concrete flooring; roof treatment was done to entire building to arrest leakages.  

A recreational facility has been arranged equipped with indoor games like Chess, Carom board for stress relief of the staff and for entertainment an LED TV has been placed.

 DRM Shri Anup Satpathy said that improving the staff amenities at rest houses, running rooms and at work places has been focused and a feedback system also developed to enhance the facilities to match requirements.   

The inaugural function was witnessed by ADRM (infra) Shri Sudhir Kumar Gupta, Sr.DCM Shri AK Tripathi and other officers from various branches.
