Fire Engulfs Commercial Building in Visakhapatnam, Damaging Computers and Stationery

In Visakhapatnam's Gajuwaka locality, a devastating fire erupted in a commercial building on Tuesday morning, causing significant damage.

The blaze originated on the second floor of the building before spreading to the third floor.

Authorities identified the site of origin as the office of Aakash Byju's on the second floor, with the fire extending to a restaurant on the third floor of the multi-storeyed (G+3) building.

Videos captured thick plumes of smoke billowing from the structure as firefighters and police rushed to the scene.

Fortunately, there were no reports of injuries or fatalities resulting from the incident. Preliminary investigations by the police and fire service personnel suggest that an electrical short circuit may have triggered the fire.

The flames ravaged through Aakash Byju's office, causing extensive damage to computers and stationery.

Upon receiving the alert, fire brigades promptly arrived and initiated operations to contain the blaze and prevent further destruction.
