Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIM-V) has recorded an increase in packages during this placement season. The IIM- V management has recently notified an upward revision in the compensation packages of the Post Graduate Diploma (PGP) 2020-2022 batch during their final placements.

The placements have completed on 31 December 2021.

Due to the decreasing pandemic risks, after the third wave and businesses bouncing back to normalcy, there is a drastic increase in the packages this year. The highest package during this placement season is Rs 31.60 lakh, recording 51.78% growth compared to last year's batch. The median package is Rs15.46 lakh and the average package is Rs 15.06 lakh. They have seen a rise of 28.83% and 19.33%, respectively compared to the previous year's placements.

The present graduating batch has broken records across all metrics. They have proved that with talent, the pandemic would not be a barrier in seeking better opportunities. IIM Visakhapatnam management has congratulated all the PGP 2020-2022 batch students for this achievement. They are happy and proud of their student's outstanding performance during the placements. The management also appreciated the efforts of the Student Placement Committee IIM-V for ably facilitating this year's recruitment process.
