Indian Navy Rescues 9 Crew Members
Off the coast of Oman, the Indian Navy successfully rescued 9 crew members from the MT Pearl Trader Oil Tanker after it sank in the Arabian Sea.
Among the rescued, 8 were Indians and 1 was a Sri Lankan national.
The rescue operation was carried out following a distress call.
The Indian Navy ship INS Trikand responded to the SOS and reached the scene. The Pearl Trader had a total of 25 crew members on board when it sank.
Out of these, 16 were Indians and the rest were of different nationalities.
