Tech giant Infosys will begin operations in Visakhapatnam on October 1. It will begin operations in a 1000-seat capacity building in IT Sez Madhurawada.
This IT major has decided to start its offices in Tier-II cities such as Vizag, Coimbatore, Kolkata, and Noida as part of its talent pooling plan. This is certainly great news for the Vizag youth, who have been waiting for Infosys to open an office in Visakhapatnam.
Initially, the company intended to begin operations in a 1 lakh square foot building, but it later decided to use the space of another IT company. The company plans to increase capacity to 3,000 seats in the near future.
