Visakhapatnam: The Indian Navy is set to achieve another significant milestone with the induction of the nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine, INS Arighat. Constructed at the Ship Building Centre in Visakhapatnam's Naval Dockyard, INS Arighat is equipped with full nuclear capabilities.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to dedicate the submarine to the nation either by the end of this month or in the first week of September. As part of the preparations, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to visit Visakhapatnam on August 29.
