Janmabhoomi Express Services Restored in Visakhapatnam
Visakhapatnam: In response to public demand, the Janmabhoomi Express services, which were previously canceled due to safety works in the Vijayawada Division, have been restored. The services will resume until August 11.
The Visakhapatnam-Lingampalli Janmabhoomi Express (12805) will be back in operation from June 26 to August 10, following its regular schedule and stoppages. Similarly, the Lingampalli-Visakhapatnam Janmabhoomi Express (12806) will resume services from June 27 to August 11, adhering to its usual timetable.
Passengers are requested to take note of these changes and plan their travel accordingly.
However, due to pre-non interlocking and non-interlocking works at Malkhedi and Mahadeokhedi stations related to the doubling project in the Jabalpur Division of West Central Railway, several trains have been canceled:
- Visakhapatnam-Bhagat Ki Kothi Weekly Express (18573) departing Visakhapatnam on June 27 and July 4.
- Bhagat Ki Kothi-Visakhapatnam Weekly Express (18574) departing Bhagat Ki Kothi on June 29 and July 6.
- Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Hirakud Express (20807) departing Visakhapatnam on July 5, 6, and 9.
- Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Express (20808) departing Amritsar on July 6, 7, and 10.
Additionally, the halt at Malkhedi station for the Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Hirakud Express (20807) has been withdrawn for trains leaving Visakhapatnam on June 28, 29, and July 2.
