King Kohli is Unfinished
Virat Kohli is back, and his performances have answered those questioning his place in the Indian team. He finally got his 71st international hundred after 1021 days of wait. In the Asia Cup 2022, he scored 122* off 61 balls against Afghanistan in yesterday's match.
He has currently ranked first in the Asia Cup 2022 standings in
most runs; most 50s; most 4s; best average; most 100s; the highest score in an inning and top scorer for the team for most times.
Indian cricket fans erupted in joy as Virat made his comeback with his classy play. He has now equaled Rickey Pointing and is second only to Sachin Tendulkar in most international hundreds. He also became India's all-time leading run scorer in Asia Cup history.
He also set many records, with his 71st international century in Dubai. With 276 runs in five matches, he is currently the leading scorer in the ongoing Asia Cup. Kohli is the fourth Indian to score a century across all formats.
His 122* is the highest T20I score in any match played in the UAE, as well as the highest individual T20I score by an Indian.
He became the fastest to reach 24,000 international runs in the world with just 522 innings. Kohli is the first player in men's Asia Cup history to score a century.
