The 5th Edition of Kinley Vizag Bay Marathon is all set to happen on 24 April 2022. The registrations already have started, and so far,4500 have registered for the event. This count is expected to touch 8,000 by the time of the event.

Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) Commissioner Dr G Lakshmisha and Visakhapatnam city Mayor Golagani Hari Venkata Kumari have launched the Poster for the Kinley Vizag Bay Marathon.

V. Vijayasai Reddy, Member of Rajya Sabha, launched the website – www.vizagbaymarathon.com. Among all the events in Visakhapatnam, this marathon stands out as it has unique global participation and has gained a reputation as a destination marathon. Leadraft Media Solutions Private Limited, in association with Deep Trust, is organising this event. The categories for this marathon are 3 Km, 5 km, 10 km and half-marathon, i.e. 21.1 km. 

The organisers said these events raise awareness and are a way to put a united city effort to showcase talents. Kinley Vizag Bay Marathon is an event that unites runners all over the city and epitomises sportsmanship. With every edition of this Marathon seeing tremendous success, they aspire to reach out to more people and contribute to bringing change.

The participants will get a t-shirt, bib with timing chip, medal, e- certificate, goodie bag, and breakfast. Last year there was massive participation in the Kinley Vizag Bay Marathon. This year also, huge participation is expected.
