Lakshmi Mukkavilli, Managing Director, Patra India Bussiness Process Outsourcing  (BPO) Services, Visakhapatnam, has been appointed as the Deputy Chairperson of CII Indian Women Network (IWN) Southern Region for 2022-23.

In defiance of antiquated ways of thinking, she has overcome every obstacle thrown her way and achieved outstanding success. She has evolved as one of the renowned administrator in the country.

Ms. Lakshmi Mukkavilli is closely aqquainted with IWN, serving as Chairperson of IWN Andhra Pradesh. She received the Asia Outsourcing Congress's "Most Talented Leaders in Outsourcing Industry" award. According to a statement published by Shaik Samiuddin, Director and Head, CII, A.P., she also received an award for one of the fastest growing Indian Company Excellence Award from the "International Achievers Conference" in New Delhi.

Lakshmi Mukkavilli  worked in United States of America (USA) for eight years and later returned to India. For a short while, she worked in Bangalore. The idea of Patra India  came when her boss John Simpson was looking for someone to help start a new venture. At that time Lakshmi was the obvious choice. 

In 2005 she started operations for Patra in Visakhapatnam with just four employees. During the first few years, they worked on outsourcing for a domestic company. In the meantime they spread their wings by setting up Patracorp subsidiary office, and in 2007 August, they started Patra India BPO Services Private Limited in the city with a staff of 40 people. Initially, their BPO focussed on tier 1 cities.

Obtaining business success isn’t something that happens overnight. It requires high levels of determination, dedication, and bravery. Ms. Lakshmi Mukkavilli has achieved a massive milestone with all her effort.
