Achievements:

Key to success:

Sincerity, passion, dedication, honesty and diligence in whatever task she has taken up. She takes great pride in whatever she does or associates herself with. She puts in her heart, empathy, compassion and chooses kindness and humanity above all and believes in building a happy team whether it was at school or now for my biking club.

Inspiration:

Gloria Struck ,the 93 year old motorbiker, Dr. Maya Angelou, Mr.Ratan Tata, Dr. Abdul Kalam, Milind Soman and all my mentors, my son and my students , all those I learn each day from .

 Struggles:
My health issues were a hindrance, so I had to take voluntary retirement from teaching. Recovering from my major ankle injury in 2017 was a challenge and took me 20 months to get back to riding again . I would rather call them my learning experiences and not struggles. Something good came out of those challenges too. Breaking the stereotypes in the society and following the passion of motorbiking and travelling solo for rides and treks was a challenge too.

Thoughts on Women’s Life:
I am a woman and that's my superpower .

 Advice to women:
Follow your dream and passion.Age is just a number- so start living your life whenever you can.Love yourself first and take care of your health and fitness - only then can you take care of the people around you. Stand up for your dignity, respect and equality. You are stronger than you believe.

Help in nurturing the men around you towards making the society a safe, respectable and happy place for men and women EQUALLY.

Crimes against women have increased in recent times. What would you say about that?
The men in the society have to be educated and sensitised to make it a safer place. Women should build up stronger sisterhood for support. Laws need to get stricter and girls need to be taught self defence right from a young age and awareness needs to be brought at grass root levels.

More women in law and order, humanities, policy making, politics would strengthen the community and make it powerful. Teachers and parents should use their classrooms and homes to nurture and educate the young boys to be righteous and sensitive towards the other gender and build up the equality of both the genders right in the formative years.

Favourite Book:
Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom

Where do you aim to see yourself in the next five years?
1. Doing an all india ride through all states and keep riding more miles.
2. Add more members to my all women riding club- the first in AP and creating many more confident long distance women riders from our state
3. Do a half marathon and full marathon
4. Learn some new skills
5. Get a sponsored bike trip abroad.
6. Be fitter, healthier, happier
7. Few more ticks on my bucket list
8. Trek to Everest Base Camp.
What are your thoughts about feminism?

I dont understand feminism. I believe in equality of all genders in all aspects. Society is a combo of all genders, we need to be kind, respect everyone, be tolerant towards each other and be non judgmental. Build up the sisterhood in a healthy manner.
