Visakhapatnam: MakeMyTrip, the renowned travel company, has opened a state-of-the-art store near Ramnagar in Visakhapatnam.

The new office, launched on June 16, 2024, was inaugurated by Ganababu, the MLA-elect of Visakhapatnam West, who highlighted the benefits of the facility for offline travel package bookings.

During the launch event, Ganababu spoke about new travel packages offered by the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Department.

He praised the establishment of a regional office in Visakhapatnam, which will serve the people of six districts in North Andhra and the two Godavari districts.

He noted that Visakhapatnam, being the 9th richest city in the country, attracts a significant number of tourists and mentioned the upcoming international airport in Bhogapuram as a key development.

Pydah Krishna Prasad, Head of Pydah Educational Institutions, commended MakeMyTrip's popularity and the positive impact of its new office in the city.

He emphasized the growing need for such organizations due to the increasing tourist flow to Visakhapatnam.

Satish Aakar, Managing Director of the company's franchise office, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to operate in Visakhapatnam.

He noted the rise in the number of travelers over the past five years and anticipated more international flights with the opening of Bhogapuram airport.

“Our representatives will provide comprehensive support to travelers during their trips and sightseeing in foreign countries,” he stated. “We organize tours and travel for 176 countries.

The event also featured speeches by Company Associate Director Manish Bharati and other officials, marking a significant milestone for MakeMyTrip in Visakhapatnam.
