Prime Minister Acknowledges Andhra University's Excellence in Vikasit Bharat @2047 -Voice of Youth Conference



In a virtual address to the Vikasit Bharat @2047 -Voice of Youth video conference, Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded the achievements of Andhra University (AU), recognizing its pivotal role in the country's progress.

The Prime Minister specifically highlighted AU's contribution to the nation's independence movement and commended its recent academic accomplishments.

During the conference, which saw participation from various universities across the country, Prime Minister Modi underscored the importance of educational institutions in shaping the future of the nation.

He mentioned Andhra University as one of the significant contributors to the country's freedom struggle, citing the emergence of freedom fighters and activists from different universities.

Notably, Andhra University recently achieved a remarkable score of NAAC A++ 3.74 grade points, earning the distinction of Knock A Double Plus.

This accomplishment has catapulted AU beyond national educational institutes, positioning it as one of the top three universities in the country, competing with central universities. The Prime Minister acknowledged this achievement in his speech, emphasizing the rising reputation of AU at the national level.

 


Expressing their joy, AU officials, professors, and students celebrated the recognition bestowed by the Prime Minister. The live broadcast of the speech was eagerly watched across AU colleges, departments, and affiliated institutions, with students cheering at the mention of Andhra University in the Prime Minister's address.

AU Registrar Acharya M. James Stephen shared that the recent development knock score garnered by AU had attracted the attention of the Union Education Department and the Prime Minister. This recognition further solidifies AU's standing as a leading educational institution in the country.

In response to the accolades, State Governor Abdul Nazir extended his congratulations to Andhra University for its outstanding achievements. Governor Nazir praised AU's commitment to development and excellence during the Vikasita Bharat program held at Raj Bhavan in Vijayawada.

AU Incharge VC Acharya K. Samatha, Registrar Acharya M. James Stephen, and Engineering College Principal Acharya G. Sasibhushan Rao actively participated in the program, reflecting the collaborative efforts driving AU's success.

The governor expressed happiness at AU's top position in the NAAC A++ rankings, highlighting the university's progress as a source of pride for the state. Andhra University's journey toward becoming a beacon of academic excellence has not only been acknowledged by the Prime Minister but also celebrated at the highest echelons of the state government.
