Shantanu Naidu, a 28-year-old individual is currently working in the office of Ratan Tata and is a sheer example of how perseverance and the art of writing cold messages work.

Shantanu joined the TATA Group straight after his UG and he was just another employee in the organization.

He was fond of dogs and took personal initiatives to help them whenever possible.
One day while returning from work he saw a dog being run over by a car and that very moment he decided that he wanted to do something to change this.

He with a few friends made dog collars and the very next day he got a call saying that his dog collar saved a life.

He wanted to make more of these but did not have money for the same. At that time someone recommended him to write a letter to Mr. Tata

Mr. Tata found this idea too good to be true but gave a shot at it and did write a handwritten letter to him and what happened next is something short of a fairytale.

He received a reply from the man himself with his sign. Mr. Tata not only invested in the venture but also gave guidance to him. Shantanu was moving to the US for his Master's but promised that he would dedicate his life to Tata Trusts once he is back.

And when he was back, Mr. Tata was ready with a job for him in his office. For all the individuals who feel founders do not have time to read cold emails or cold emails do not work, I guess you have gotten your answer.
