Step into a world painted in vibrant hues as the 'RED: An Exhibit and an Experience' art show, organised collaboratively by the imaginative minds of Sindhur Reddy, a skilled photographer, and Suryadev Dasari, a self-taught conceptual artist, unfolds at the picturesque Hawa Mahal on Beach Road.

Here, in this breathtaking exhibition, the central theme pulsates with the passionate power of the colour red and its profound significance in the tapestry of human existence.

Approximately 80 hand-painted masterpieces and meticulously crafted photographs grace the space, eloquently echoing the colour red's profound influence on human emotions and life's myriad experiences.

The colour red, rich in its diverse symbolic associations, becomes a living canvas for emotions, ranging from the gentle strokes of love and affection to the fiery fervor of anger and the sparks of revolution. Sindhur Reddy, with her keen eye for photography, and Suryadev Dasari, the masterful painter, both breathe life into the theme of red, each showcasing their unique talents.

Sindhur Reddy, the photographer, offers us a glimpse into her journey, where the color red emerges as a symbol of the passion and boundless energy she has poured into her craft. It represents the boldness and unwavering strength required to explore uncharted territories and the courage to capture life in its raw authenticity.

She confesses to having distanced herself from this vivid hue as she matured, yet the color red remained a silent, persistent presence, patiently waiting for her to take notice.

Suryadev Dasari, too, invites us into his world of red. From his school days when a red ink pen set questions apart from the answers written in blue or black, to the inherent ease and accessibility of the color, red has always been a constant companion, weaving itself into his life since childhood.

As he sifts through the pool of artworks he's crafted over the past six years, he discovers that red, in the most unassuming yet impactful manner, has consistently woven itself into his creations.

The stage is set for this captivating exhibition, a tapestry of red emotions and experiences. The exhibition is open until October 15 at  Hawa Mahal on RK Beach Road.
