In a devastating road accident near Seethakonda locality, under the jurisdiction of Arilova police station in Vizag city, one person lost their life, and three others sustained injuries during the early hours of Friday.

The deceased, identified as J Poorna Reddy (23), hailed from the Dondaparthy locality in Vizag city.

The injured individuals are J Prakash, B Vamsi Reddy, and N Sai. The Arilova police investigation revealed that the fatal accident resulted from reckless and negligent driving.

The driver, Poorna Reddy, lost control of the vehicle due to over-speeding, causing it to collide with a road divider and an electric pole.

Tragically, the driver succumbed to the impact on the spot, while the three passengers suffered injuries.

Prompt medical attention was provided, and the injured individuals were transported to the hospital. Fortunately, their condition is reported to be stable.

The authorities have registered a case, and the deceased's body has been moved for postmortem examination.
