Rotary Club of Vizag Diamonds Welcomes Three New Members, Expands Its Reach

The Rotary Club of Vizag Diamonds celebrated a significant expansion of its team by inducting three dedicated individuals into its ranks. Rtn Anita Mohta, Dr. Padmaja, and Rtn Nagamannar have joined the esteemed club, increasing its membership to 84. This marks a remarkable 20% growth compared to the previous year.

During a meeting held at a local hotel in the city, President Shashi Jaiswal shared the club's commitment to service and mentioned that new members are welcomed based on their genuine passion for making a positive impact on society.

In alignment with the Rotary District Governor's directive to prioritize members' health, RC Vizag Diamonds initiated the "Know Your Numbers" program, offering comprehensive health check-ups to all its members. This initiative aims to ensure that members are physically fit to serve the community effectively.

Secretary Neeraja announced the club's upcoming initiatives, including serving breakfast at the Vanaprastam Old Age Home and supplying play equipment to a local school. Additionally, a dental camp is scheduled for October to provide essential healthcare services to those in need.

During the meeting, both old and new members had the opportunity to introduce themselves and share insights about their respective businesses. Capt Kali Prasad, President of RMB Visakhapatnam, encouraged club members to consider joining the Rotary Business Networking (RMB), a platform designed to foster mutual support among Rotary members in their business endeavors.

The Rotary Club of Vizag Diamonds continues to grow and strengthen its commitment to community service and fellowship, welcoming individuals who share the Rotary spirit of "Service Above Self."
