Rotary Club Visakha Port city has donated a Maruthi van to Rotary Blood Bank on 30 June 2022. It was presented by Dr K Vijayalaksmi, District medical and health officer (DM&HO) at Rotary blood bank, Jagadamba Centre, Visakhapatnam. 

Dr K Vijayalaksmi praised the wonderful services of the Rotary blood bank to the needy, particularly during COVID -19 time. She has assured full support and cooperation to the blood bank. Rotary club Visakha Port City President D V Varma has briefed about the club activities and the Maruti Van. Blood bank Chairman GS Raju has highlighted the services and activities of Blood Bank.

The rotary blood bank Chairman spoke about the special award presented by the Vizag chamber of commerce and passed it on to Dr Ashok and the Rotary blood bank team through the hands of the District medical & health officer. Past District Governor G Viswanadh, incoming president US Sarma, incoming secretary Sudhir Chowdhary, past presidents Muralidharan Pillai, Indra Vadlamani, past secretary Lade Kishore and members B Sivaji, NVN Raju, Lakshminarayana, KV Ramana, A N Raju and Suresh babu have graced the occasion.
