The event 'Striking Chords for Harmony' is organised by Socio Story Foundation, a development advocacy platform and Mahavir International (Vizag chapter) on 28 April 2022. Famous violinist and Guinness world record holder Sandeep Thakur will be performing in this musical concert.

GVMC Commissioner Dr G Lakshmisha is the chief guest for this musical concert. The event 'Striking Chords for Harmony' was planned as a fundraiser for a charitable cause. Money generated from this event will be used to help the poor and the needy in Visakhapatnam city.

Sandeep Thakur is an Indian violinist from a western classical circuit. He has worked on famous movies like Mohabbatein, Chak De India, Aashiqui 2 and Dangal. Sandeep worked with A R Rahman, Pritam, Shankar-Ehsaan-Roy, Mithoon, Salim-Suleiman, Vishal-Shekhar, Amit Trivedi, DJ Chetas and Amaal Malik. He is an influential musician in the Jagjit Singh Ghazal Symphony and a founder musician for four successful concerts. 

Sandeep's violin covers on youtube have generated tremendous views and reviews globally. He strongly believes music should be a passion rather than a hobby. His goal is to popularise the instrument and ignite a desire among the masses to play violin.

Next month, a similar charity event called Beat the Heat will be organised by the Socio Story team. Amateur Singers will be performing at that event.
