Avanthi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Makavarapalem, has organised a national level two-day technical meet TECHTONICS. The motto of this meet is to enlighten students about Futuristic Technology. 

The program was inaugurated by P Ravi Subhash, IAS District Collector, Anakapalle District, Prof. R V Rajakumar, Former Director, IIT, Bhubaneswar, IIT Kharagpur, Sri M Srinivasa Rao, MLA Bheemili and the Principal Dr C Mohan Rao. Renowned Academicians and Experts from Industry have participated in this two-day program and delivered lectures to the students.

On the first day, Dr A Chiranjeevi, Founder and Chief Coach, Medha Language Theatre, Prof. Ranjan Kumar Behera, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Patna, Dr G Kiran Kumar, HOD, Department of ECE, NIT, Tadepalligudem, Prof. Putti Srinivasa Rao, Chairman, BoS, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Andhra University, and  Aliasgar Calcuttawala, Chief Technical Officer, Saif Automation service Visakhapatnam graced the occasion and enlightened students about the latest techniques in technology.

On the Second Day, Khagesh Kumar Choudary, Scientist E, NSTL, Visakhapatnam, Dr T Ramakrishnudu  Department of CSE, NIT Warangal, P Narayana Rao, Technical Officer-D, BARC, Visakhapatnam, Amal Raj COO, Headfitted, Visakhapatnam, and T Anil Kumar, Technical Manager R&DDFT Semi-Conductors, Visakhapatnam, have graced the occasion and delivered expert talks on emerging technologies and motivated the students.

During these two days, the individual departments have conducted Expert Talks, paper presentations, Poster Presentations, Technical quizzes and other skill-based events. About 2000 students from 32 colleges have participated and exhibited their talent. With all these activities,  TECHTONICS  has satisfied its intended purpose and helped the students enhance their skills. Prizes were given to all top performers in various events.
