Two students from Visakhapatnam and others from various parts of AP topped Civil Services exam
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), on 30 May 2022, announced the final result of the Civil Services Examination, 2021. At least 16 candidates from Andhra Pradesh have cracked the Civil Services exam. The final result has been published after prelims, main and interview rounds. Two Civil Service aspirants from the Visakhapatnam city and the other from Narsipatnam in the Anakapalli district secured top ranks this year.
Sahitya, a gold medallist in B Pharmacy, expressed interest in joining the Indian Foreign Services (IFS) as the job offers opportunities to meet different people across the globe. She secured 24th rank.
A student from Narsipatnam M Maurya Bharadwaja secured 28th rank.
After completing his B.Tech from NIT-Warangal. He was committed to clearing the civil services exam and went to Delhi for coaching. His father, MS Prasad, is a Kotha Mallampeta ZP School headmaster in Golugonda Mandal and his mother, Radha Kumari, works at Narsiptnam regional hospital. He secured 28th rank.
As many as 685 candidates have qualified at all Indian level. Of this, 244 are from the general category, 73 from Economically Weaker Sections, 203 of Other Backward Classes, 105 from Scheduled Caste and 60 from the Scheduled Tribes.
