Visakhapatnam: St. Ann’s Degree College recently hosted a vibrant Public Relations (PR) Education Day, celebrating the field in the company of enthusiastic PR and journalism students.

The event honored the legacy of Dr. C.V. Narasimham Reddy, a pioneer in PR education known for his extensive contributions, including the creation of 35 textbooks and course materials on PR and related disciplines.

Dr. Anasuya Devi, PR Professor at St. Ann’s, and Principal Sister Catherine played key roles in the celebration, reflecting on Dr. Reddy’s enduring impact on PR education.

The event also recognized outstanding students with awards for their excellence in PR studies, aiming to inspire future professionals in the field.

M. Kali V.L. Narasimham, Chairman of PRSI-Vizag, highlighted the significance of public relations and journalism in today’s world. RP Sharma, General Manager of RINL, and Vijayprasad, a Member of PRSI, also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the vital role of PR in shaping public discourse and communication.
