Strengthening Maritime Security: Indian Navy Delegates Visit Information Fusion Centre



In a bid to bolster maritime security cooperation and fortify bilateral ties between India and Singapore, a delegation from the Eastern Fleet of the Indian Navy,

Under the leadership of Rear Admiral Rajesh Dhankhar, Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet, paid a significant visit to the Information Fusion Centre (IFC) in Singapore.

The primary objective of the visit was to engage in discussions aimed at enhancing maritime security measures and fostering a closer relationship between the two nations.

Key topics on the agenda included an assessment of the current maritime security landscape in the region and strategizing ways to address emerging threats effectively.


Furthermore, the delegates explored avenues for collaboration between IFC Singapore and the Indian Navy-hosted IFC-IOR.

By facilitating the exchange of ideas and expertise, both parties seek to adopt a more unified and coordinated approach to tackling shared maritime challenges.

The visit underscores the commitment of India and Singapore to strengthening regional security frameworks and promoting stability in the Indo-Pacific region.

It also highlights the importance of mutual cooperation and dialogue in safeguarding maritime interests and ensuring the safety of sea lanes.
