Visakhapatnam, December 16:
Naresh Kumar Oruganti, CEO of Symbiosis Technologies and a research scholar of the Department of Commerce & Management Studies, Andhra University, has been awarded a Doctorate (Ph.D.) by Andhra University.

 

He completed his doctoral research under the supervision of Arts & Commerce College Principal, Prof. A. Narasimha Rao, on the topic “Workplace Dynamics and Challenges in the IT Sector Post-Pandemic: A Case Study on Work From Home in Andhra Pradesh.” The research focuses on the changing work environment, operational challenges, and evolving dynamics in the IT sector following the COVID-19 pandemic, with special emphasis on the Work From Home model in Andhra Pradesh.

The Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University, Prof. G. P. Rajasekhar, formally presented the doctoral degree orders to Naresh Kumar at his office and extended his congratulations. Faculty members, fellow researchers, well-wishers, and academicians congratulated him on this academic achievement. Subsequently, Prof. A. Narasimha Rao personally felicitated Naresh Kumar at his office and conveyed his best wishes.

Drawing from his extensive experience of running a software company for several years, Naresh Kumar closely observed the growth, transformation, and challenges of the IT ecosystem. His research provides an in-depth academic analysis of post-COVID challenges faced by the IT sector in Andhra Pradesh and offers valuable insights into workplace flexibility, productivity, and organizational adaptation.

Apart from his professional and academic accomplishments, Naresh Kumar is actively involved in regional development initiatives. He serves as Vice President of the Rushikonda IT Park Association and  Chairman - Vizag Development Council, contributing significantly to the growth of the IT ecosystem in Visakhapatnam.

Naresh Kumar has previously completed B.E., MBA, and M.Phil. degrees, and with the award of his Ph.D. from Andhra University, he has added another milestone to his distinguished career.

 

His achievement stands as an inspiration for industry professionals to pursue research-driven insights that contribute to both academic knowledge and real-world industry development.
