The Hyper Boys' case sparked outrage in Visakhapatnam after they were found with lethal weapons in Kancharapalem and other areas. The police have nabbed a gang of seven members who were carrying deadly weapons and 6 kgs of ganja in Urvashi Kudali and have begun questioning them.
Loan sharks approach this gang in order to collect the money they lend out as loans. The borrowers are threatened about debt repayment by this gang. In most cases, they threaten the borrowers with paying far more than the amount borrowed.
A victim recently approached the police after being threatened with knives over a delayed loan repayment to a financier. They threatened to kill him if he said anything. Other allegations include extortion of money from unemployed people by promising jobs and threatening them if they turn around.
