Two-Day Women Entrepreneurs Conference in Visakhapatnam on October 5

Visakhapatnam is set to host a two-day state-level conference, exclusively for women entrepreneurs, commencing on October 5.

Organized by the Andhra Pradesh Innovation Society (APIS) in collaboration with Startup India, the event promises to be a significant platform for nearly 150 registered entrepreneurs hailing from diverse sectors such as Information Technology, rural development, health, and education.

Startup India, operating under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, has been fostering the growth of women-led startups. This conference marks a promotional endeavor of Startup India's scheme, having already made its mark in 19 states across India.

"The Startup India initiative is spearheading conferences of this nature across the nation, and Visakhapatnam is privileged to host one such event.

It presents an excellent opportunity for women entrepreneurs to share innovative ideas, discuss experiences in their existing businesses, and offer valuable feedback to government authorities," shared Lavanya, Joint Director at APIS.

The conference, scheduled to take place at the prestigious Radisson Blu hotel in Rushikonda, aims to support and empower women entrepreneurs in their journey to develop and expand their businesses.

The event will be centered around providing essential guidance and support necessary for women to thrive as successful entrepreneurs.

Distinguished attendees at the conference will include the State Industries, Infrastructure, Investment & Commerce Minister, Gudivada Amarnath, and the State ITE&C Department Secretary, Kona Sasidhar.

Their presence underscores the government's commitment to fostering a conducive environment for women entrepreneurs to flourish.

This initiative not only contributes to the growth of the local startup ecosystem but also serves as a beacon of inspiration for aspiring women entrepreneurs across the region.

As Visakhapatnam gears up to host this remarkable conference, it is evident that the future of women in entrepreneurship is looking brighter than ever.
