Visakhapatnam, June 10, 2024: Today, amidst grandeur, the Andhra Premier League unveiled its third edition, "Our Andhra, Our APL," along with a stunning new logo and anthem.

This remarkable tournament features six teams, 19 matches, and 120 athletes. The matches of the Andhra Premier League will be conducted from June 30th to July 13th in Visakhapatnam and Kadapa cities.

These matches are being conducted under the auspices of the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA), showcasing the cricketing talents regionally and aiming to achieve international recognition for APL.

In a ceremony held today in Visakhapatnam, the APL governing council revealed the tournament's final schedule along with the unveiling of the new logo and anthem "Our Andhra, Our APL."

The event witnessed the presence of dignitaries such as Mr. Mankoo Ferrar, Chairman, ACA, Mr. Gopinath Reddy, Member & Director, APL, Mr. Chalam, Member & Treasurer, APL, Mr. Jitendra Sharma, Member & Apex Council Member, ACA, Mr. Muralimohan, Member, ACA, and Dr. Aska Vinod, Member, ACA.

The promotional event, themed around cricket fervor, garnered immense excitement among the organizers. The tagline "Our Andhra, Our APL" reflects the league's commitment to showcase Andhra's cricketing passion.

The captivating logo with vibrant colors attracts regional cricket enthusiasts, promising a thrilling experience. With stadiums in Visakhapatnam and Kadapa, along with live broadcasts, the league promises a carnival atmosphere during match times.

Prior to this festival, in May, 451 athletes participated in mini-trials, out of which 21 players joined hands with 7 rising stars to form the final squads of 120 players.

Teams like the Bezawada Tigers, Uttarandhra Lions, Godavari Titans, Rayalaseema Kings, Vizag Warriors, and Coastal Raiders will battle it out in the APL Season 3, starting from June 30th. Star Sports Telugu, Star Sports First, and FanCode will broadcast all APL matches live.

Speaking on behalf of the APL governing council, they expressed their aspirations for APL-2024, aiming to elevate the league to unprecedented heights, providing opportunities for current players to shine both nationally and internationally like in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

They anticipate creating new records in Season 3, enhancing the cricket viewing experience for fans.
