UPSC Exam Preparations for EPFO and ESIC in Vizag

The Vizag district is making thorough arrangements for the upcoming UPSC examinations scheduled on 7 July 2024, which will include tests for positions in the Employee Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) and Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC).

According to a press note from District Revenue Officer K Mohan Rao, UPSC-appointed observers will inspect the exam centers on 5 July.

On 4 July, DRO K Mohan Rao conducted a coordination meeting with relevant officials to finalize the arrangements.

The examinations will be held in two sessions: EPFO Personal Assistants and ESIC Nursing Officers from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and another ESIC examination from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A total of 5,729 candidates are expected to participate across the district.

Candidates, route officers, and invigilators are required to adhere to UPSC guidelines. All candidates must bring a government-issued identity card along with their hall ticket.

Liaison Officers and Superintendents must follow strict protocols from the receipt of question papers to the completion of the exams and the delivery of answer bundles to UPSC.

Prohibited items include mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, and other smart devices. Police officers have been instructed to conduct thorough checks before allowing candidates into the exam centers. Candidates should arrive at least 30 minutes before the exam time.

To ensure a smooth examination process, APEPDCL officials have been tasked with preventing any power disruptions.

Health department officials will set up medical camps with ANMs available at the exam centers, while GVMC staff will handle sanitation and provide essential facilities like drinking water.

Coordination among all authorities in Vizag is crucial to ensure the transparent conduct of the UPSC exam.
