VCCI Women's Wing set up a Water Station for the pilgrims during Giri Pradakshina

On the eve of Giri Pradakshina on 12th July 2022, the Vizagpatam Chamber of Commerce & Industry (VCCI) Women's Wing set up a Water Station for the pilgrims. The water station was set up at Mudasarlova Near Golf Club, Visakhapatnam.
The members of the VCCI Women's Wing maintained the water station. VCCI Women's Wing President Jeeja Valsraj, Vice-President Sandhya Godey, Treasurer Kavita Khara and member Asha Yarabatti served 600 litres of chilled water to more than 7600 pilgrims in steel glasses. They use steel glasses to curb plastic usage and promote a healthy environment. This initiative is the first of its kind service activity by the VCCI Women's Wing and is also considerable success in preventing single-use plastic water pouches.
