In a display of religious fervor, Chhath Puja, traditionally observed in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh, unfolded with joy and devotion at Ramakrishna Beach in Visakhapatnam on a Sunday evening.

Organized by the Visakha Chhath Puja Samithi, the festival drew the enthusiastic participation of hundreds of people from North India.

Representatives of the Samithi, including Subhash Chandra Rai, Prakash Bhartiya, Vikas Bhartiya, and Anand Pathak, emphasized the significance of the festival, highlighting its deeply rooted religious customs observed with great zeal in North India.

Chhath Puja is distinguished by the worship of the Sun God during both sunrise and sunset, a practice that adds a unique spiritual dimension to the festivities.
