Vice Adm Rajesh Pendharkar Reviews Eastern Fleet's Operational Readiness



Vice Adm Rajesh Pendharkar, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command, conducted a comprehensive review of the operational readiness of the Eastern Fleet during at-sea inspection.

The event, overseen by Rear Adm Gurcharan Singh, Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet, showcased various surface, sub-surface, air, and anti-air operations.  

The inspection included unalerted exercises, successful weapon firings, including anti-submarine weapon firings, and well-executed amphibious operations, which were the standout features of this readiness assessment.


During the inspection, Vice Adm Rajesh Pendharkar personally embarked on participating ships, interacted with the crew, and expressed his high level of satisfaction with the combat readiness displayed by the Eastern Fleet.

He commended the hard work, dedication, and exceptional morale exhibited by the men and women serving aboard the ships.

In his remarks, he encouraged them to continue excelling in their roles and affirmed their capability to effectively counter maritime threats across all dimensions.

This review underscores the Eastern Naval Command's commitment to maintaining the highest standards of operational readiness, ensuring the safeguarding of India's maritime interests, and contributing to regional security and stability.
