Visakhapatnam: In a significant human trafficking case, the Visakhapatnam police successfully rescued a youth from Chinnamushidiwada, who was lured to Myanmar under false pretenses. The operation, linked to cybercrime, concluded with his safe return on Wednesday.
During a press briefing, the victim shared his ordeal, explaining that he had applied for a hospital job in Bangkok after seeing a vacancy online. Within two days, he received confirmation of his selection and was provided tickets to travel immediately.
The police have urged the public to exercise caution and thoroughly verify overseas job offers before proceeding.
