Visakhapatnam Railway Station inaugurated an air-conditioned lounge at Platform No1 with good facilities for the comfort of the passengers. As part of it, Divisional Railway Supervisor (DRM) Anup Satpathy inaugurated a paid air-conditioned lounge at Visakhapatnam railway station on Wednesday at platform No.1. This lounge is close to Gate No: 3.

The new lounge is very well equipped with a lot of facilities and is also with reasonably priced charges. A separate washroom for women and men, CCTV Surveillance, PAS system, and smart digital television for entertainment and to enhance passengers' convenience.

The lounge contains:

• Cushioned three-seater couches and chairs with an aesthetic roof ceiling.
• Tiled flooring.
• Shiny glass end.
• A washroom with premier fittings and baggage rack.

The power is accessible for passengers at a nominal cost of Rs 30 an hour and Rs.20 for the following hour or a half. ADRM (OP) Manoj Kumar Sahoo, ADRM, Sudhir Kumar Gupta, Sr DOM G.
