Inorbit Mall to be set up in Visakhapatnam soon
Raheja Group is planning to open its new mall in the city of destiny. The business giant Raheja Group has a couple of Inorbid Malls. In Visakhapatnam, this mall will be set up on a 17-acre land belonging to the Visakhapatnam Port.
The Inorbit Malls are familiar with many big cities across the country and have considerable patronisation of the customers. Perhaps for the first time coming to Andhra Pradesh. The Raheja Group had tied up with the Visakhapatnam Port Trust to establish the mall. It had paid Rs 125 crore to the Port Trust to have the 17 acres of land on a 30 years lease.
The Visakhapatnam Port Trust had started to lease out its lands to avoid encroachments and make some income out of the vacant lands.
Port Trust chairman K Ramamohan Rao said the mall would come up in the Port Trust lands. He said the trust had leased 17 acres of its land at Saligrama Puram village to the Raheja Group for the mall.
However, the Raheja Group has yet to announce its entry into Andhra Pradesh.
Raheja Group operates five malls in significant metro cities Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Vadodara, Bengaluru and Cyberabad. Now they have planned to open a new mall in Visakhapatnam.
