Visakhapatnam Railway Station has claimed the top spot in terms of earnings within the East Coast Railway zone.
According to K. Eshwar, Secretary of the Duvvada Railway Users Association, the station secured the first position among the top 20 earning stations from the financial years 2021-22 to 2023-24.
Visakhapatnam Railway Station generated a revenue of Rs. 554.31 crores, securing the first position. Duvvada Railway Station followed at the 13th position with earnings of Rs. 27.19 crores.
