Speaking at a media conference in Visakhapatnam on Sunday, Rao emphasized that valuable land parcels have been illegally acquired by YSRCP leaders, and a thorough investigation will be conducted to uncover those responsible.
Highlighting the deteriorating situation in Visakhapatnam, once renowned for its development, Rao lamented that the city has now become a hotspot for ganja trade and land grabbing. He pointed out that the lack of job recruitments over the past five years has left the youth in a state of deprivation. However, he expressed optimism, noting that with the alliance government in power, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has already signed the mega DSC as promised, indicating a positive shift.
Rao also announced that 183 Anna Canteens across Andhra Pradesh would resume operations starting August 15. Furthermore, efforts are underway to provide a permanent solution to the 'panchagramalu' land issue in Visakhapatnam, allowing residents to undertake necessary repair works. Issues related to the BRTS corridor are also being addressed, with solutions expected soon.
At the event, Simhachalam Devasthanam executive officer S. Srinivasa Murthy, TDP leaders Korada Rajababu, P.V. Narasimham, and BJP Bheemili in-charge Ramu Naidu unveiled a poster detailing the month-long programs initiated by the alliance government, aimed at addressing various regional concerns and improving public welfare.
