Visakhapatnam: In a significant political development, Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, former Rajya Sabha member and national president of Vishwa Hindi Parishad, has been approached to support the US presidential campaign.

The request came from Vice President and presidential candidate Kamala Harris, along with Nancy Pelosi, the first female Speaker of the United States, who is leading Harris’ campaign.

Prof. Lakshmi Prasad received official emails requesting his involvement in the campaign, marking a notable recognition of his previous efforts.

He has previously campaigned in prominent cities such as Chicago, Detroit, New Jersey, Toronto, and London.

An avid observer of American politics, Lakshmi Prasad has authored books on both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, further underscoring his longstanding interest and expertise in US political affairs.
