8 Different types of Vegetarians in our country

Our country comprises approximately 45 per cent of people who are vegetarians in their own way. While it is a matter of personal choice for some, vegetarianism comes in varying degrees for people. Practising vegetarianism and being born into a vegetarian family are the possible factors that lead to eight different types of vegetarians.

Here is the list of eight types of vegetarians in our country.

1. Pure Vegetarians
In a country like India, one can find atleast ten per cent of the population strictly following vegetarianism. They even refrain from eating at multicuisine restaurants.

2.  Eggitarians
The egg is considered essential food in growing children's diet. For proper protein and muscle strength, they eat. These people eat eggs in any form but can't eat other non-vegetarian items like chicken and mutton.

3. Caketarians
Caketarians are like an extension of the eggetarian group who eat cakes and cookies made of eggs. They consume eggs indirectly through cakes and pastries, but they never eat eggs in the form of curry or dish.

4. Gravytarians
Gravytarians are the ones who never touch the pieces of mutton or chicken but eat the gravy of that particular curry. They are usually tempted by the aromatic flavours of chicken and mutton curry.

5. Restricted Vegetarians
Restricted Vegetarians are presumably vegetarians, as they never cook or eat non-veg at their homes, but they eat non-veg outside. They never take non-veg parcels to their homes or eat non-veg with their family.

6. Boozytarians
Boozytarians are generally found in parties as they munch on the non-veg starters. They only eat non-vegetarian while boozing.

7. Forcitarians
Forcitarians are the ones who are not really interested in eating non-vegetarian food, but with peer pressure, they eat. Usually, during brunch with friends, they would be forced to taste some non-veg dish.

8. Calenderetarians
Calenderetarians are usually bound by their family principles. They don't eat non-veg on certain days of the week, probably because it is auspicious or dedicated to a Hindu god.
