A 22-year-old man was arrested by the police for raping an 11-year-old minor girl near the NH-16 under the Arilova Police Station. The police arrested him within two hours of receiving a complaint from a woman regarding the incident.
The accused dragged a minor girl into the bushes at an isolated place near the NH-16 and raped her. The victim was found with injuries by a woman who informed the police regarding the incident. A team of police jumped into immediate action and caught the culprit with the help of CCTV footage.
The victim was admitted to the King George Hospital and is being treated. Police stated that the condition of the minor is currently stable. The police have filed charges against the accused, and he will be produced in court.
