The Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) is being held at Hindustan Shipyard Ltd (HSL), Visakhapatnam, from October 31 to November 6, 2022, with the theme "Corruption-Free India for a Developed Nation."
It began on October 31, 2022, with employees taking the integrity pledge at Visakhapatnam Beach Road, which was overseen by Cmde Hemant Khatri, C&MD, HSL.
During the week, other events such as the "Awareness Gram Sabha" at Mangalapalem Village, quiz, essay, and slogan competitions for HSL employees, an interactive session for HSL vendors and contractors to highlight the ill effects of corruption, and outreach programmes at HSL School & College to make the children more aware and vigilant will be held.
