A human trafficking ring that forced over 14,000 people into prostitution was busted by the Cyberabad Police 



Cyberabad Police conducted raids and arrested 18 people in connection with one of the largest human trafficking rings, which forced over 14,000 people into prostitution. With a nationwide network, this gang brought victims from AP, Telengana, Karnataka, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Delhi, as well as countries like Russia, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Nepal, and Bangladesh.

 


The racket is run from Delhi, Bangalore, and Hyderabad via the internet. The racket advertised on websites contacted customers via call centers and WhatsApp to arrange for them to meet the victims in hotels and also used drugs to attract customers.

The accused have been booked at four police stations in Cyberabad under Section 370 of the Indian Penal Code (buying or disposing of any person as a slave) and Sections 3, 4, and 5 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.
