ACA's 'Fan Park' Returns: Live Screening of India-NZ Semi-Final Match on the Big Screen
As cricket fever takes over Visakhapatnam during the ICC World Cup, the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) is all set to bring back the popular 'Fan Park' experience for cricket enthusiasts.
The 'Fan Park' will be located at R.K Beach, opposite the Kali Mata Temple, providing a communal space for fans to come together and enjoy the game.
The highly anticipated ICC World Cup Semi-Final match between India and New Zealand will be broadcast live on a massive screen at the Fan Park. The screening is scheduled to take place from 1:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., allowing fans to witness the thrilling encounter in a vibrant atmosphere.
ACA Secretary S.R. Gopinath Reddy announced that entry to the Fan Park will be free of charge, and the spacious venue is capable of accommodating over 10,000 cricket enthusiasts. To enhance the overall experience, food stalls will be set up, adding to the carnival-like atmosphere for the attendees.
In addition to the R.K Beach location, similar 'Fan Parks' are planned at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium, MG Road, Vijayawada, and Arts College Grounds, YSR Kadapa.
With Team India securing a spot in the semi-finals for the fourth consecutive time and emerging as the only unbeaten team in the group stage, the match against New Zealand on November 15 at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, has generated immense excitement. The second semi-final, featuring Australia and South Africa, is scheduled for November 16 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
Furthermore, various hotels, restaurants, breweries, and coffee shops in the city are gearing up to live screen the semi-final, aiming to attract and entertain their patrons during the intense cricket showdown.
