American Author and Astrologer David Frawley speaks at a symposium in Visakhapatnam About India

India A Living Civilization Fit to Be Viswa Guru", emphasized the enduring significance of India as a living civilization and rejected the notion of viewing it solely as a nation-state.

He highlighted the cultural richness embodied in India, referring to it as Bharat, which he deemed worthy of the title 'Viswa Guru.'

The symposium, titled 'Reconstructing The Cultural History of Bharat,' organized by the Sivananda Supatha Foundation at the Integral Institute of Advanced Management (IIAM), provided a platform for scholars, intellectuals, and academics to delve into India's cultural heritage.

Frawley praised Sadguru Sivananda Murthy as a profound figure in the traditional Sanatana Culture, whose influence transcends geographical boundaries, inspiring minds across India and beyond.

He also commended the recent 'Pran Prathista' ceremony in Ayodhya as a significant step in propagating India's message globally.

Keynote addresses by eminent figures such as Y. Sudershan Rao and insights from organizers like Balmukund Pandey underscored the importance of recognizing Sanatana Dharma as the cornerstone of Indian history.

They criticized the distortion of Indian history by Europeans and advocated for a holistic understanding of Bharatiya civilization among historians, urging the abandonment of pseudo-secularism.

The symposium, chaired by R. Raghavendran, delved into the mission of Sadguru Sivananda Murthy and offered critical analyses of Puranic literature and Bharat history by scholars like Remella Avadhanulu, Yogini Shambhavi, Nilesh Nilakanth Oak, and Koenraad Elst, further enriching the discourse on India's cultural heritage.
