Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Initiates Construction of Advanced Science & Technology Museum at Kailasagiri



In a significant development, Gudivada Amarnath, the Industries and IT Minister of Andhra Pradesh, laid the foundation stone for the upcoming Advanced Science & Technology Museum on Kailasagiri Hill in Visakhapatnam.

The ceremony took place on Tuesday, with key attendees including District Collector A Mallikarjuna, CEO of Science City of Andhra Pradesh K. Jayarami Reddy, and other dignitaries.


Minister Amarnath disclosed that the construction of the museum, funded with ₹4.69 crore from the Central government and ₹93 lakh from the Science City of A.P., is set to become a prominent attraction for tourists.

Emphasizing the commitment to timely completion, he announced plans to finish the project within a year.

Present at the ceremony were MLC V Kalyani and officials from the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA), marking a collaborative effort to bring this state-of-the-art facility to fruition.
