APSRTC Announces Fare Concession Guidelines for Senior Citizens

Visakhapatnam: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has issued updated guidelines regarding fare concessions for senior citizens across all districts in the state. Under the revised policy, senior citizens aged 60 and above are eligible for a 25% concession on ticket fares.
To avail of the concession, senior citizens must provide valid age proof in either original or digital format at the time of ticket purchase. Acceptable ID cards include Aadhar, Senior Citizen ID, PAN, Passport, Voter ID, and Ration Card.
The initiative aims to make public transportation more accessible and affordable for senior citizens. APSRTC officials urged eligible individuals to carry the required documents to ensure a hassle-free travel experience.
