AU earns a 3-star rank in its inaugural year of participation in the annual IIC rankings



Andhra University has received a three-star rank from the Institutions Innovation Council (IIC). These annual rankings are announced by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Andhra University received a 3-star ranking for the year 2021–2022, which was its first year of participation in the IIC rankings.

 


Subhas Sarkar, Union Minister of State for Education, announced these rankings on November 18. Andhra University was also included in the top 25 list, which included national institutes such as the IITs, IIMs, NITs, and IIITs, as well as central universities, affiliated universities, and others.

Professor PVGD Prasad Reddy, Vice Chancellor of Andhra University, stated that AU's performance in the IIC rankings has once again demonstrated the entrepreneurial culture that is being developed on campus. He congratulated H. Purushotham, president of the IIC, and students for outstanding performance in the IIC rankings'  during the inaugural year of participation.
