AU’s Meteorology Department to Celebrate Platinum Jubilee with National Seminar

Visakhapatnam: Andhra University’s Department of Meteorology and Oceanography is set to celebrate its Platinum Jubilee with a three-day national seminar starting Wednesday, September 18.

The seminar, titled "Current Trends in Atmospheric and Oceanic Processes Related to Climate Change Studies," will be held at AU’s Convention Centre on Beach Road.

The event will bring together over 300 delegates from leading institutions, including representatives from the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), and the Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS), to discuss emerging trends in climate change and related atmospheric and oceanic processes.
