IIPE Vizag Lays Foundation Stone for Central Administrative Block
Visakhapatnam: The Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy (IIPE) marked a key milestone with the foundation stone laying ceremony for its central administrative block at its permanent campus in Vangali, near Sabbavaram.
Presiding over the event, IIPE Director Professor Shalivahan emphasized the significance of the new block, stating, "This administrative hub will be the backbone of our institution, supporting our academic and research activities as we strive to become a leading institution in the petroleum and energy sector."
Registrar Ramphal Dwivedi added, "The central administrative block will not only streamline our operations but also foster a more efficient and productive environment for staff and students alike."
The ceremony was attended by faculty members, non-teaching staff, officials from the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), and representatives from KPC Projects Ltd., the construction agency.
All parties expressed their dedication to ensuring timely and quality completion of the project.
Currently operating from a transit campus at Andhra University, IIPE plans to move to its permanent Vangali campus by the next academic year.
